[EP4 e-Diary] Finding Myself Again - A Fresh Start in Ipoh
10:55 PMHello there! It’s been ages since I’ve sat down to tell a story here. Life has been quite the whirlwind, and I can’t wait to share what’s been happening.
Cafe hopping is my main task in KL life |
But here’s the thing – while chasing career goals, I inadvertently put my personal life and passions on the back burner. It took courage (and quite a bit of soul-searching) to leave the high-paying opportunities of the big city and start anew in Ipoh. It wasn’t an easy decision, especially with a senior title on my resume, but the trade-off has been worth it. Ipoh has given me the chance to strike a balance between my career and passions, something I desperately needed.

As a freelancer specializing in digital marketing, I’ve recognized the importance of upskilling. The world is evolving at lightning speed, and staying relevant means staying curious. I’m incredibly grateful to have received a full scholarship for a 3-year virtual diploma program – a brilliant opportunity to expand my knowledge. And guess what? By dedicating just 1% of my day to studying, I’ve already seen a positive shift in achieving my personal goals.
Rediscovering Creativity Through Journaling
Back in KL, I started something I like to call my “BuJo” journey – short for bullet journaling, I think? For me, it’s less about planning and more about capturing memories through drawings and doodles. Moving to Ipoh has given me more time to dedicate to this creative outlet, and it has become a sort of pen pal for my thoughts and daily experiences.

From now on, I plan to share more about this journey on the blog – not just to document my life, but also to spread positive vibes. Whether it’s through creativity, personal growth, or simply navigating life’s ups and downs, I hope my experiences inspire others to embrace change with an open heart.

So, next time life throws you a curveball, try swapping “Why me?” for “Try me.” You might be surprised at how much your mindset can shape your path.
Thanks for catching up with me, and until next time – またね!
